Transparency Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Ping5r believes that a healthy social network requires honesty about how moderation actually works. In the spirit of the EU Digital Services Act, we publish — or will publish — the information on this page for anyone to review.

Moderation reports

We are preparing our first public transparency report. It will cover:

  • Total items flagged by automated moderation.
  • Total reports submitted by users.
  • Admin actions taken (content removal, account suspension, account termination).
  • Number of appeals received and the reversal rate.
  • Law-enforcement requests received and how we responded, in aggregate.

First report: Q3 2026.

How moderation works today

Content is screened by an automated pipeline (OpenAI moderation models, Cloudflare Workers AI, and a keyword blocklist), surfaced to an admin review queue when it crosses a threshold or is reported by a user, and then actioned by a human. Appeals are reviewed by a different human than the one who made the original decision wherever possible.
