Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

Ping5r is committed to making our platform usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we treat accessibility bugs the same way we treat any other serious defect.

What we have done

  • Keyboard navigation across primary flows — feed, posting, messaging, and settings.
  • Semantic HTML structure so that screen readers can identify headings, landmarks, lists, and form controls.
  • Alt text support on uploaded media, with a prompt for users to describe images when they post.
  • Sufficient color contrast for our dark palette, checked against the WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Focus indicators that are visible in the dark theme.
  • Reduced motion support for users with the OS-level “reduce motion” preference enabled.

Known gaps

We are a small team and we know that our coverage is not yet complete. Live video and some third-party embeds are not fully captioned. A few older custom components still need ARIA labels refined. We prioritize fixes based on reported impact, so please tell us when something blocks you.

Reporting an issue or requesting an accommodation

If something on Ping5r is unusable for you, or if you need a specific accommodation to participate (for example, an alternative format for account recovery), email support@ping5r.com or reach us through the Contact page. Please include the page URL, the device and assistive technology you are using, and a short description of what went wrong.
